Southwestern Community College Ranks in the TOP 10
If you’ve gone to Southwestern Community College you probably (should) know this. But for those people that don’t, I thought now would be a good time to make a post about it. Southwestern CC ranks top 10 in the country for community colleges. Colleges were taken into consideration, and then 50 different ones were listed as ‘the best’. Out of those, Southwestern is in the leading pack.
There are more than one thousand community colleges in the United States. Its hard to believe that our little college can ranked that well. It has a lot to do with the way students are engaged. There was a nation wide engagement study that showed which colleges best interacted with their students. This surely helped boost Southwestern CC’s ratings in the poll.
Speaking of polls, today is the Iowa Caucus for the 2012 Republican debate! Posting on that when results come in!

Southwestern’s Previous Rankings
Our college is one of the only two colleges to have ranked in the top 10 more than twice. In 2007 we were number 4 and now we’ve hit top 10 again!
