Mast General Store in Waynesville North Carolina is one of my favorite stops if I’m looking to buy something for a friend (or even myself)
They have a wide variety of clothing. There is a whole section for shoes and socks. Its to the left of the main store (inside). There are special employees only for this section that will fit you to great shoes. They have lots of unique shoes, not just the normal kind you might find at rack room. The shoes are mostly hiking, running, out doors type of shoes, but they have plenty of brilliant mockisins and other shoes of that nature. (I didn’t spell that right, but I don’t know how its supposed to go).
There is also my favorite spot, the candy barrel. Down in the basement of the store in Asheville and Waynesville is a whole section filled with candy. It is pay per wright, so you can just pick and choose and then take it up to the cash register. There are old fashioned barrels.
There are also generic items like Burts Bees that fit in perfectly well with the old fashioned type of store. Mast General Store has everything you could ever want in it, and that used to be their logo.
We have everything for the living and the dead! However, they don’t carry stuff for dead people anymore. They decided to let the professional people handle that stuff. Its just not in the market anyways.
I really suggest that you give a visit to Mast General Store in Asheville if you are around, or visit Mast in Waynesville which is on Main Street and is impossible to miss.
