2010-02-11: Bobby Moranda – WCU Baseball

The program was Western Carolina University baseball head coach Bobby Moranda. Now in his third year at WCU, Moranda said the Catamounts are seeking nothing less than a championship this season.Western has won 13 Southern Conference championships since 1981.In addition to its Southern Conference rivals, the team will also face Clemson, Georgia, and Georgia Tech in non-conference games this year.It will also face Tennessee and former WCU baseball coach, Todd Raleigh, at home on April 7th.Of the 56 games scheduled this year, 28 will be in Cullowhee and Coach Moranda is hoping for lots of local fan support in the cats’ quest for a pennant.   Bob Vodak celebrated his 89th birthday!
